As candidates for the 2027 NSW State election are announced, we’ll add their details to this page and invite each of them to respond to Dungog Shire Council’s Fair Funding 4 Dungog priorities.

Our campaign will seek clear commitments from all candidates and political parties contesting our electorate on the issues that matter to Dungog Shire, including fairer road funding, recognition of our regionally significant transport network, support for roads servicing State assets, and a fairer share of government funding.

Every candidate will be given the same opportunity to tell our community where they stand and what they are prepared to commit to for Dungog Shire.

Council does not endorse or oppose any political party or candidate, nor does this campaign seek to encourage people to vote for or against any candidate or party. Our role is simply to present the facts, ask the questions and share the responses so our community can see what each candidate is proposing for Dungog Shire.
